Eleanor, Poetry Columnist
Eleanor Black is 17 and is a Senior at Roosevelt. Eleanor is a founding member of our paper and is the resident Poetry Columnist. They have been writing poetry since they could start writing and it’s something they are very passionate about. Eleanor has gotten First Place twice in the Roosevelt Poetry slam back to back and has participated in Verselandia twice as well. Eleanor says that their favorite thing to write about is their cats and the joy they bring and they prefer happy poems. Their goal for this paper is to give everyone a voice and a creative outlet. Eleanor loves other things as well like drawing and acting. They are such a lively member of our team and we hope to see the column continue after they graduate.
