It is Shelahn’s first year at Roosevelt, and if you haven’t met them, they’re a really nice person. Shelahn’s motto they live by is “Treat others how you want to be treated”.
Shelahn’s biggest accomplishment is graduating with their Master’s Degree in Special Education while working full time and taking care of a dog. Shelahn has a community full of dog people who go to the dog park every day, and Shelahn has made a couple best friends from the dog park.
When asked what Shelahn values, they said “Everyone deserves to be heard and I can’t always take critiques as criticism.”
When asked who the most influential person in their life is, Shelahn said “My mom” who lived in Iran during her childhood and moved to the United States in college.
The thing that most people might not know about Shelahn is that one of their hobbies is film photography.
If you see Shelahn, say hi!
