Welcome to Voices of Roosevelt! Voices is an independent, student-run school newspaper focused on giving students a voice in our Portland community. Based out of Roosevelt High School in Portland, Oregon, Voices empowers students by keeping them informed by sharing community stories, news, editorials, and current events. We started Voices in May of 2022 because we as RHS students wanted to have a place for young people like us to be able to access valid information about what is happening in our community. Our talented team of student journalists, editors, photographers, artists, and graphic designers are working to bring information and stories to our community directly from Roosevelt students. With every new article and piece of content we create, the Voices team strives to bring our RHS community closer together and make us more educated as a whole.
